One of the great things about having technical wizards working with you is the fact that they need very little sleep and perform at a high level at all times…

HUGE thanks to our freelance rigger who in his spare time over the past two weeks has helped revamp our website! Please have a wander over and a quick look see to spot the difference. Don’t forget to hit F5 to reload the page from the server if you have us bookmarked, otherwise you wont see any of the changes!!!

We have also remodelled and re-edited our showreel, added a few new snippets of work and final renders of other work previously shown as ‘in progress’ pieces. Added to this, we have a new animated gif avatar for our twitter account just to complete the polished effect.

We will have updates on our work for the Olympics in the next couple of weeks…

Olympics – The YOG2012 CEP characters ready for production – a sneak peak

Today we got the sign off on the character development for the YOG2012 cultural and educational program! We have one male and one female character all ready for rigging by our multi-talented team.

With client sign off it means we are moving forward to the production of what will be ground breaking, informative and entertaining films.

As soon as we can we will release the final ‘final’ the whole sequence of development will be released as a short movie. It’s been a road well travelled!

Innsbruck 2012 – The First Youth Winter Olympics!!

Tomorrow at 6:30 I am off to supervise the VFX shoot for the very first Youth Olympics Winter Games in Innsbruck Austria. I’m not entirely sure at this point as to my involvement in the shoot itself, but I’m ready to pitch in as and where needed.

It’s an honour to be involved with the IOC in such a landmark event. As I understand it, there will be highlights shown on terrestrial and satellite TV around the globe.

We’re really looking forward to a number of BIG things this year!

As always it has been great over the past 12 months working with the crazy variety of clients we do and I would like to thank everyone for a great 2011.

Looking forward to this year, there are a number of broadcast projects completed last year and about to air all over the globe. We are also very proud to be part of the first Youth Winter Olympics in Innsbruck in the next few weeks.
